Recent Examples of Ongoing Training
As part of BP and qedi ongoing commitment to training with local Azeri personnel, qedi Baku Business Unit are delighted to announce that four Azeri GoC technical assistants working on the Shah Deniz project have successfully attained GoC foundation level 1.
This is an important milestone, not only for BP and qedi, but is also a great achievement to our local personnel. These are the first Azeri Nationals to attain a level of competency for the BP global best practice Guidance on Certification completions management system. Both BP and qedi are committed to the transfer of skills and knowledge to ensure there is a smooth transition and hand over to a significantly higher level of Azeri content which will ultimately lead BP’s on going commitment to ensuring technical integrity on all assets.
The first internship programme for the development of new Certification Engineers was performed in Aberdeen in 2007.
This programme was devised, financed and performed free of charge by qedi in order to create new resources for an ever-expanding requirement of skilled personnel.
