Fast-evolving oil and gas commissioning and technology specialist, qedi, has won a second major industry accolade in as many months following the esteemed SCDI Scotland International Awards.
qedi, which is part of the international engineering and project management company AMEC, was recognised for its exceptional international growth after being honoured with the coveted BP Award for Outstanding International Achievement in the Oil and Gas Industry.
The award acknowledges qedi’s high value consultancy services and game-changing technology which has been pivotal to the company’s increasingly growing global footprint.
qedi was also recently honoured with the esteemed Overall Global Business Award at Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce’s Northern Star awards.

The SCDI judging panel was particularly impressed by qedi’s turnover record which has increased six-fold within just five years from around £10million to in excess of £60million despite the challenge of an economic downturn. qedi has also trebled its number of global employees from 100 to more than 300 in the past 12 months.
